Paramount Expands UFC Streaming Rights to Latin America and Australia

New seven-year deal brings UFC events to Paramount+ subscribers in 2026

In a bold move to broaden its global sports portfolio, Paramount has announced an expansion of its partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), securing exclusive streaming rights for Paramount+ across Latin America and Australia starting in 2026.

This development follows the landmark seven-year, $7.7 billion agreement inked in August, which designated Paramount+ as the exclusive U.S. home for all UFC events beginning next year. The latest deal extends this reach, offering fans in Latin America and Australia unprecedented access to UFC content.

Under the new arrangement, Paramount+ subscribers in Latin America, including Brazil—a nation renowned for its rich MMA heritage—will enjoy live broadcasts of all 13 marquee numbered UFC events and 30 UFC Fight Nights annually, at no additional cost. This move positions Paramount+ as the premier destination for UFC enthusiasts in the region, consolidating the sport's most anticipated events on a single platform.

In Australia, the agreement grants Paramount+ the rights to stream all 30 UFC Fight Nights and the preliminary bouts for the 13 marquee numbered events each year. Notably, the main card rights for these numbered events remain with Foxtel, the current pay-per-view rights holder in the country. This strategic expansion enhances Paramount+'s sports offerings, providing Australian fans with comprehensive UFC coverage.

UFC President and CEO Dana White expressed enthusiasm about the partnership's growth, stating, "The partnership with Paramount has already been incredible and it just keeps getting bigger and better. They are now taking on new territories like Latin America and Australia and this thing is just going to continue to grow. It just shows you how aggressive they are with this business, and I love it. I can't wait to continue working together and building the next generation of talent all over the world."

Cindy Holland, Chair of Direct-To-Consumer at Paramount, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the company's commitment to delivering premium UFC programming to a global audience. "We are thrilled to expand upon the historic offering of UFC content for Paramount+ subscribers across all plans to more passionate and engaged fans around the world," she said.

This expansion underscores Paramount+'s dedication to enhancing its diverse content library, which includes high-quality TV series, blockbuster movies, and now, an even more robust selection of live sports. By integrating UFC's dynamic and influential events, Paramount+ aims to attract a broader audience and solidify its position as a leading streaming service in the competitive global market.

Details regarding the first UFC events to stream live on Paramount+ in the U.S., Latin America, and Australia will be announced in the coming weeks, as fans eagerly anticipate the enhanced accessibility and coverage of their favorite sport.
